From the 1970s, an ethereal maxi dress in light blue jersey. Painted floral chiffon forms fluttery sleeves and an elongated peplum. Skirt has additional solid chiffon layer. Tank-style bodice is lined in solid chiffon. Closes at back with zipper and top hook&eye. From the Patrice M. collection.

Fiber/Care: no tags, polyester, dry-clean

Condition: a few teensy scattered spots and some darkened areas on the back edge of the skirt peplum, near the zipper. these get lost in the folds, as the dress has a lot of sway and movement. the original belt is missing (it  was likely a narrow, tubular sort, as the thread loops are quite small).
